Check out his overstream feed as magus831, he's got two vids up already:
"Crawling" by Linkin Park (great song!):
And "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse:
I'd also like to plug Bill Creswell's blog - http://billcreswell.wordpress.com/ "Captioning the Internet one video at a time" - it's a great resource for other captioned videos, most notably movie trailers that aren't captioned.
Time to get going off for work. I'm looking forward to taking a couple of vacations and getting out of town for a while. HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America, http://www.hearingloss.org) is having their annual convention in Nashville, which is a great town to visit and soak up the culture. I'll be in workshops and lectures on topics such as Hair Cell Regeneration, Wireless Technology, Advocacy for Accessibility, stuff like that. I'll be touching base with people I've talked to dozens of times online but have yet to meet in person since I've helped form the KC Chapter. And, of course, my camping trip to CO with Kel, Mike n' Tara. That'll be kickass. And smelly. But mostly kickass!
I think it's great that you all are doing this! At some point I would like to post yours, Seth's,etc. overstream pages.
ReplyDeleteThe only complaint I have is that uploading it to an iPod seems impossible. Any ideas?
There are only two ways I know of for getting them into an iPod captioned. MacCaption and merging separate captions into an mp4
ReplyDeleteBoth are mentioned here
http://www.cpcweb.forums/index.php?showtopic=28
However, I think it requires a separate caption file.
I was thinking that a website that allowed the viewing of the videos and the sharing of the caption files would be very cool.....
I'm making progress on identifying how to merge an SRT file with a video downloaded from Youtube. I'll have to test it on your iPod later, Kel!
